The journey to Hugr
In 2017, one of the app’s creators was facing mental health struggles. This experience, combined with a passion for technology and the support of his close friend and software development business partner, sparked the idea for a digital solution to help individuals address these common struggles. And the journey to Hugr began.
Years of intensive research, development and feedback on early iterations—including partnerships with a handful of leading organizations in health, safety and employee benefits—led to the Hugr we know today. With a focus on evidence-based iCBT programming, it’s a proven mental fitness plan that’s designed to build resilience and healthy social connections.
Available through Arcora since 2021, this digital feature of our EAP mental health services is included in all Mental Well-being Solutions. Take advantage of this valuable resource—download Hugr from the App Store or Google Play and kickstart your practice in flourishing!
